Hong Kong Cyberport Animation Camp 2009

Hong Kong, December 11, 2009 - Following the success of Cyberport Animation Camp 2006, the Cyberport Animation Camp 2009 will be held on December 12, 2009 at Hong Kong Cyberport to provide opportunities for learning from the global leading animation experts. Cyberport Animation Camp 2009 is the largest digital media development event in this year organized by Hong Kong Cyberport IncuTrain Centre, Autodesk(Autodesk Inc.), Mayan Hong Kong Maya User Group and supported by Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. With the support from the youth, the entrepreneurs and the industries professionals, Cyberport Animation Camp 2009 has received overwhelming responses with over 500 people have registered!

Cyberport Animation Camp 2009 aims to extend the collaboration and structure in the future development of a successful creative economy on existing links of worldwide digital animation developers in applying world class skills and knowledge in creative industries in Hong Kong. Four leaders of the animation world including IMAGI Animation Studio, Lucasfilm Animation Singapore, Rhythm & Hues Studio and Rising Sun Pictures are invited to Hong Kong and deliver the world class professional training at Cyberport Animation Camp 2009.

Hong Kong Cyberport IncuTrain Program

For those young people, who want to setup their own company for developing animation, it is a good opportunity to try submitting a proposal to Hong Kong Cyberport IncuTrain Centre. Small-to-medium sized digital entertainment and creative digital lifestyle businesses are welcome to join Hong Kong Cyberport IncuTrain program and have an opportunity to obtain government subsidies on advance digital production facilities, training, legal advice, internship recruitment, partnership matching and collaborations with local and overseas organizations. The Centre welcomes applications from any Hong Kong registered companies, particularly the start-ups, to join Cyberport IncuTrain program.
