Cyberport “Game Ideas Collection” Program
Voting at Asia Game Show 2007
Organized by Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport), co-organized by China Game Publishers Association (Hong Kong) (CGPA-HK) and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, sponsored by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), the Game Ideas Collection Program has been held since October 2007. Representatives from popular game publishers, academic institutes and digital entertainment industry have formed the vetting committee and selected 15 finalists from individuals, teams and companies entries. The 15 finalists’ game ideas were published in Game Ideas Collection Booklet.
To further promote the Game Ideas Collection Booklet and encourage local creativity in digital entertainment industry, Cyberport will set up a Game Ideas Voting booth at Asia Game Show 2007, which will be held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wanchai, during December 22 to 25, 2007. The 15 finalists will display their game idea exhibits at the booth in order to win a PS3™ 60GB console or SLIM & LITE PSP® console in “My Favorite Game Idea Award” and "The Most Impressive Exhibit Award” sponsored by Sony Computer Entertainment HK Ltd.
"The Most Impressive Exhibit” Award
50 x 50 cm space will be provided for each finalist to display their game idea exhibits at the booth. Each of the finalists could think out of box to make use of the space to show their game ideas.
Voting via FACEBOOK
Game Ideas Voting booth will be set at Asia Game Show 2007. The 15 finalists will show their game idea exhibits at the booth (please see the below table for details). There will have computers connected to FACEBOOK to provide online voting at the booth. A Cyberport free gift will be given to those who have successfully voted at Asia Game Show. Gifts are limited while stock lasts.

Voting deadline and Prize Presentation
Voting cut off time will be at 12:00 noon on December 25, 2007.
The group obtaining the most number of votes at “My Favorite Game Idea” item will get a PS3™ 60GB console sponsored by Sony Computer Entertainment HK Ltd. In addition, the group obtaining the most number of votes at "The Most Impressive Exhibit” item will get a SLIM & LITE PSP® console.
Prize presentation will be held on December 25, 2007 at Asia Game Show.
