Funded by Innovation and Technology Fund, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited established Hong Kong’s first and only Digital Entertainment Incubation-and-Training Centre (“IncuTrain Centre”) in November 2005 and organized an “IncuTrain Programme” for the local digital entertainment industry. Many applications for the said programme have been received since the launching of the programme in October 2005. More than 10 applications have been successfully admitted to operate their business in the IncuTrain Centre and to receive incubation support in next two years.
The “IncuTrain Programme” is now inviting the 2nd batch of application between January 19, 2006 and March 31, 2006. In order to introduce the Programme to the dream-makers of the industry, the IncuTrain Centre is going to host a symposium to brief the application details. Besides, renowned international training partners including the Banff Centre of Canada, Microsoft Hong Kong Limited, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Polytechnic University will present short talks on how to develop successful businesses in the digital entertainment industry.
