Before 2011, the Korah team in Canada focused on providing professional IT services for Canadian businesses such as Bell, BMO, IBM, Sears, and Sony. However, upon realizing the increasingly cost competitiveness of off-shore companies such as those in India, we decided in 2011 to shift focus to a long-term, steady stream of revenue in the form of a product-based company that served clients using a SaaS model. Currently, the company is laser focused on ccRobot, a virtual assistant building platform powered by Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) and Machine Learning (“ML”) that enables customer care processes to be automated. Korah’s vision with ccRobot is to drive the operational economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of any organization by dramatically improving client interactions. Moreover, Korah’s mission is to evolve our clients’ omni-channel conversational applications to adapt to the ever-changing needs via an agile and fail-safe approach. All in all, Korah aims to enhance customer experience, increase worker productivity and reduce labour costs for all our clients.
Korah Asia Limited (“Korah Asia”), headquartered in Cyberport, is the Hong Kong sister company of Korah Limited in Canada. Our objective is to address the under-served, non-English chatbot markets in the Asia Pacific region in need of client interaction automation in Asian languages. These needs can be satisfied by ccRobot’s statistic based NLP technology which is designed to handle multiple and even mixed written languages. In recent years, this capability has been continuously verified by Asian parties for the Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and Malay languages.
Currently in Hong Kong, we are working with direct clients (i.e. Towngas and a Hong Kong-based regional bank) and strategic partners (i.e. ESDlife, PwC, and CBRE). Additionally, we are in advanced proof of concept stages with strategic partners in Mainland China, Thailand, Korea and other Asian countries.
