To prepare our incubatees for pitching local and global investors,
every year we organise various short-term and long-term training
courses and events to suit the needs of the ICT community. Among
these is our bi-annual “Angel Pitching Training Programme”, a
three-month intensive training programme for pitching angel
investors. We have also held our “Start-up Clinic” with
representatives from Google, Microsoft, Hong Kong Business
Angel network, Tencent, Marks & Clerk, Ernst & Young and
PricewaterhouseCoopers, among others, to mentor our incubatees
on preparing business plans and pitching decks.
In addition to our strong network in the Mainland, we have been
building our presence in the US, particularly in Silicon Valley where
we have established partnerships with investors, incubators and
accelerators. Through the relentless efforts of the incubatees and
the advancement of the ecosystem Cyberport has been building,
our incubatees have raised over HK$100 million in accumulated
angel investment funding.
Cyberport also supported many leading conferences, seminars, and
trade-shows to provide our community with valuable opportunities
to engage with international industry leaders, establishing contacts
and exchanging ideas with industry icons and pioneers. One
example was the “OpenStack Summit”, a world-renowned
international conference on cloud computing that was held outside
the US for the first time. Our ability to attract such a reputable
event to Hong Kong clearly demonstrates that Cyberport has
achieved a solid standing in the global ICT industry. In the future,
we will continue to explore opportunities for hosting more high-
quality events in order to expand our community network at home
and abroad.
We are also cultivating partnerships with industry associations in
Asia, such as Japan’s Knowledge Capital Association for organising
a number of prestigious ICT events. During the upcoming review
period, we will work with more similar associations in the region to
create synergies and continue to strengthen our vision as the
regional ICT hub in Asia-Pacific.
Enhancing our World-class Technology and
Facilities
At Cyberport, we are constantly introducing new cutting-edge
technologies. One of the major technology enhancements we
introduced during the review period was Hong Kong’s first
Community Cloud Platform, which allows our Cyberport tenants,
Smart-Space companies, incubatees, grantees, alumni and
subscribers to expand their business and operation in a more agile,
cost-effective and collaborative manner.

聯繫亦不斷擴大，尤其已在矽谷與投資者、培
育公司和加速器公司建立夥伴關係。憑藉受培
育公司的努力不懈和在數碼港積極推動下，受
培育公司成功籌集逾

億港元天使基金。
數碼港亦支持大量重要會議、研討會和貿易展
覽，為業界提供寶貴機會，認識國際同業領
袖，以及與業界巨擘和先驅建立聯繫和交流意
見。由享譽國際的雲端運算會議「
OpenStack
峰會」首次移師到美國以外的地區舉行中可見
一斑。數碼港能吸引如此大型的盛事在香港舉
行，足證數碼港已在全球
ICT
行業享有一定知
名度。日後我們將繼續發掘機會，主辦更多高
質素的活動，務求擴大在本港及海外的網絡。
同時，數碼港亦致力與亞洲的業界商會，例如
日本的知識之都建立夥伴關係，籌辦多項
ICT
盛事。於未來的日子，我們將與區內更多商會
合作締造協同效應，逐步實現我們成為亞太區
ICT
業界樞紐的願景。
