Temporary Manager - Corporate Marketing (Ref# TMCM180705W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and manage major company events. Devise strategic implementation plan that add values to the event and branding
  • Liaise and work closely with different business units, third-party agencies, suppliers, Government bodies and industry organisations
  • Solicit and follow up potential collaborations, partnerships and sponsorships for better event synergy
  • Provide full support on wide spectrum of event management including but not limited to speaker co-ordination, programme development, promotion and advertising, marketing collaterals, stage production, onsite logistics, as well as market research and procurement.
  • Manage marketing budget and monitor event P/L

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in corporate/event marketing, corporate communications, marketing communication and / or public relations with hands-on experience in planning of marketing strategies and promotions, budgeting, marketing collaterals production etc.
  • Proven track record in planning and managing large-scale events is a must
  • Knowledge and experience in digital marketing is an advantage

Senior Manager – Venture Investments (Ref# SMVI180718W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research potential investment targets, markets, and sector trends, and contribute to fund level thinking and strategy
  • Originate and execute deal transactions by, but not limited to, active participation in the Cyberport start-up community, frequent attendance of events, panels, and discussions
  • Manage co-investors, connect target companies to co-investors, and negotiate investment terms, if necessary
  • Pro-actively conduct due diligence, working with professional parties, and handle all aspects of new transactions, including drafting of investment reports with thorough strategic and financial analysis, valuation models and recommendations, and identifying exit potentials
  • Review and amend all related legal documents throughout the execution process for each potential transaction
  • Define and execute on systems/processes to establish a portfolio of Cyberport companies from an investment perspective
  • Assist in the management of the portfolio of investments, but not limited to forecast of the changes in financial position, review and assess the liquidity of assets and the fund planning or arrangement
  • Prepare fund and periodical reports for management
  • Assist Cyberport management on adhoc projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in a business-related discipline from a leading university
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience, with at least 3 years related to venture investment, private equity, M&A or corporate finance
  • Solid experience in origination and execution of transactions
  • Prior buy-side equity investment transactions experience is a must.
  • Ability to lead equity transactions independently with relevant knowledge on operational, financial and legal due diligence and the completion process for start-up investments.
  • Strong analytical, due diligence, and financial modeling skills; ability to analyse and value businesses
  • Ability to write and deliver, in English, high-quality Board, strategy and other position papers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Strong work ethics and demonstrated commitment to excellence
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Strong team player, able to work effectively in a team environment

Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting (Ref# AMFA180705W)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial reporting and prepare cash flow forecasts, analytical reviews and management reports 
  • Manage accounts receivable / payable functions and closely monitor bad debts and conduct credit control procedures
  • Assist in the financial review of hotel and property management operations
  • Work closely with the investment team to understand Marco Fund investments structure and support investment execution
  • Ensure completeness of accounting records and compliance with systems, procedures and controls to fulfill company policies and statutory requirements

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Project Manager – Enterprise System (12-months contract) (Ref# PMES180718I)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive forward delivery plans across multiple projects working closely with internal and third party vendor teams
  • Actively manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies - being clear on the available options and associated consequences in delivering plans
  • Manage forecasts to cover the development and ongoing tracking of project budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, governance, tools and templates
  • Work closely with business units to understand local business needs and how best to deliver innovative solutions to meet/exceed expectations
  • Develop strong working relationships across the IT leadership teams and peers to support the delivery of project plans

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in business analyst or project management capacity, with demonstrable track record of leading and delivering IT projects in a complex enterprise organisation
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in design, development or support of web-based and cloud-based business systems such as CRM or ECM
  • Experience in application portfolio management and integration architecture design
  • Experience in conducting business requirement analysis and formulate the corresponding IT strategy, prepare project plans, technical specifications, tender documents and other typical artefacts
  • Self-motivated, energetic and well-organized with an analytical mind
  • Able to work independently and under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with different business teams in order to capture new application needs and change/enhancement requests for the existing applications
  • Develop the functional enhancement specifications according to business needs
  • Participate in new project planning, business case preparation and project implementation
  • Ensure applications meeting corporate compliance and security standard
  • Act as Level 1 application support subject matter expert of Cyberport applications

Requirements:

  • Keen understanding of business drivers and KPIs and work with a sense of urgency to support evolving business needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR administrative support on recruitment, employer branding, and talent engagement programs

  • Work with senior management to formulate the FinTech strategy for Cyberport and lead cross-organisational teams to implement the strategy
  • Develop and engage the investor networks for FinTech and other digital clusters to facilitate and enable investments in Cyberport’s start-ups
  • Initiate and lead FinTech-specific programs to engage the stakeholders in FinTech ecosystems worldwide
  • Nurture, support and engage FinTech start-ups in the Cyberport community to grow into mainland China and international markets
  • Attract and acquire local, mainland China and international FinTech start-ups and established Fintech leaders to join the Cyberport community
  • Bridge FinTech start-ups with financial services institutes on innovation collaboration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business or IT disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the domain of financial services and/or digital technologies
  • First-class knowledge of the latest trends in FinTech worldwide
  • Familiar with FinTech and digital technology investment industry
  • Effective and articulate communicator, ability to work effectively with the C-suite of financial services institutes and digital technology firms
  • Prior engagement in local and global digital start-up ecosystems is preferable
  • Demonstrated experience of leading cross-functional project teams to achieve strategic goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing and multi-faceted working environment
  • Solid project management and excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
