Peter YAN King-shun
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Peter Yan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. As the CEO of Cyberport, Mr Yan leads the digital technology flagship to focus on fostering industry development, enterprise transformation and talent cultivation to realise Cyberport’s vision to create new impetus for Hong Kong’s new economy through digital technology.
Mr Yan has 34 years of experience in the information technology industry and is a fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society. Prior to joining Cyberport, Mr Yan was the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of SUNeVision Holdings Limited; and had held various senior management positions in large consulting and information technology services companies including Accenture, Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited, and Computer and Technologies Holdings Limited. Mr Yan has been active in public services especially in the areas of talent development and digital technology industry development, serving as advisors to the Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong and University of Hong Kong, as well as the Board of Cyberport from 2011 to 2017.
Mr Yan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and received Executive Education from the Harvard Business School.
Howard CHENG Hay-wing
Chief Operating Officer
Mr Howard Cheng is the Chief Operating Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. Mr Cheng is responsible for managing all aspects of Cyberport’s campus development and management. He leads the formulation and execution of Information Technology Operations, Technical Service, Facilities Management and Hotel strategies for Cyberport, and introduce the application of state-of-the-art digital technologies to serve Cyberport’s tenants, start-ups and the campus.
As an experienced business executive, Mr Cheng has managed complex operations in his roles as Advisor and Head of Planning and Development with Kowloon Motor Bus, prior to joining Cyberport. Mr Cheng was the Managing Director of Serco Group HK Limited, an international service company which specialises in managing complex facilities management-related operations in the public sector where he was overall in charge of the Hong Kong and China business; and was the Assistant General Manager of Hong Kong Airport Authority where he was in charge of various functions and businesses in airport management.
Mr Cheng holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, plus an undergraduate degree in Applied Science in Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing from the University of Toronto.
Adonis LEE Kok-ming
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Adonis Lee is the Chief Financial Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited as the Chief Financial Officer. In this position, Mr Lee is responsible for planning and overseeing finance and risk management related initiatives. He also provides professional support and advices to the Board of Directors and management team regarding the Company’s strategic business development plan.
Mr Lee has over 25 years of experience in the field of auditing, accounting and financial management. Before joining Cyberport, he was the Head of Finance and Company Secretary of SUNeVision Holding Limited. Prior to that, he served as the Senior Vice President of Group Finance in HKT Trust and HKT Limited, a subsidiary of PCCW Group.
Added to his wealth of experience in financial management, Mr Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Economics degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Financial Analysis degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Stella KWAN Mun-yee
Chief Corporate Development Officer
Dr. Stella Kwan is the Chief Corporate Development Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. She is responsible for corporate business development, stakeholder engagement, technology cluster communications and public affairs, expanding partnership locally and globally, attracting anchor tenants and building strong business and community relationship.
Dr. Kwan is a seasoned business leader with solid experience in the tourism, retail and education industries. Before joining Cyberport, she was Managing Director of Ngong Ping 360 Limited, which is a subsidiary of the MTR Corporation. Prior to that, she has held senior management positions with major international corporations, including the MTR Corporation, Jardine Matheson and Swire Pacific, and helped to establish brands and businesses such as IKEA, Marathon Sports, Dymocks Booksellers, MTR Malls and MTR Station Business. She has also engaged in public services in the education, retail and tourism sectors.
Dr. Kwan holds a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded Fellowship by the Vocational Training Council and Hong Kong Institute of Marketing.
Eric Chan Sze-yuen
Chief Public Mission Officer
Ir. Eric Chan is the Chief Public Mission Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport. Ir. Chan is in charge of building the ecosystem of nurturing start-ups from inspiring the next generation, through nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, to empowering global ambition, by providing comprehensive entrepreneurship programmes and early stage funding.
Ir. Chan has 32 years of experience in the ICT industry, a chartered engineer, a chartered marketer and a fellow of Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK). Prior to joining Cyberport, Chan was a Director of HGC Global Communication; and had held various senior positions in global telecom and IT services companies including PCCW, PCCW Consulting Services, Cable & Wireless HKT. Ir. Chan has been active in public services, especially in education and industrial training, professional bodies and charitable organisations. Ir. Chan is the Chairman of Knowledge Management Development Center, Vice Chairman of Industrial Training Advisory Committee (ICT) and a member of Curriculum Development Council. He also serves as advisor and mentor at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Ir. Chan holds a BSc. (Hon) degree in Engineering from University of London, a Master degree in Business Administration from Manchester Business School, and received Executive Education from INSEAD and IESE business schools.
Boris LO Chi-heng
Mr Boris Lo is the Project Director of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. Mr Lo is responsible for the project management of the Cyberport Expansion Project and off-site satellite co-working spaces.
With solid experience in project and design management, Mr Lo has managed several award-winning complex building projects. Before joining Cyberport, Mr. Lo was the Assistant General Manager of the Design Department at Nan Fung Group where he supervised two award winning projects, including The Mills, which was awarded Medal of the Year by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and Award for New Design in Heritage Contexts by UNESCO, and Kai Tak commercial development (under construction), which was awarded Grand Award of Green Building Award by the Hong Kong Green Building Council. Prior to that, during his time with Rocco Design Architects Ltd., he was the team leader of the Tamar development Project, which has involved different sectors of stakeholders for a cluster of buildings comprising Chief Executive’s Office, Central Government Complex, Legislative Council Complex and Tamar Park connecting to waterfront promenade.
Mr. Lo holds a Master Degree in Architecture from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a registered architect, a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects and an Authorized Person under the Building Ordinance of Hong Kong.
Chief Investment Officer
Mr Johnny Chan is the Chief Investment Officer of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited and is mainly responsible for managing the Cyberport Macro Fund. He leads the investment strategies and all aspect of the Fund’s developments. He also oversees the relationship management and development of the Cyberport Investor Network (CIN). He was a member of the Cyberport Advisory Panel until September 2018.
Possessing 35 years of experience in the banking and investment fields, Mr Chan had held various senior-level positions previously. He is the CIO of Softech Investment Management, which has been the manager of the Government’s Applied Research Fund since 2000. He was the Founder/CEO of Crosby Capital Limited from 2000 to 2013, Chairman and CIO of Crosby Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited until 2016.
Mr Chan also served different advisory committees, including the Advisory Committee of the Innovation of Technology Commission and numerous committees of the HKTDC.
Mr Chan obtained a BA Hons Economics from the London Metropolitan University and an MBA from CASS Business School, City, University of London. He is a fellow of FINSIA and holds a Post Graduate Diploma of the Securities Institute of Australia.
