As a leader in promoting ICT, we give our tenants unrivalled
support with state-of-the-art facilities that are truly world-class,
including the next generation of cutting-edge industry tools
essential to ensuring a robust information highway for the
industry. We also recognised the need to constantly upgrade
our infrastructure. for example, during the year we launched a
new 4K Master Control Centre that will help to promote the
growth of the local digital entertainment industry. This new
facility — Hong Kong’s first publicly available multi-format
supported platform for 4K video production and screening —
will play a vital role in the adoption of ultra High Definition
broadcasting in the region’s digital entertainment industry,
including film companies, production houses, content
distributors and educational institutions.
Another major achievement was the launch of Hong Kong’s first
Community Cloud in November 2013. Three years in
development, this Infrastructure as a Service is now available to
all tenants, incubatees, Cyberport Creative Micro fund (CCMf)
grantees, Smart-Space company, alumni and Collaboration
Centre subscribers. users of the Cyberport Community Cloud
embraced this new technology for its cost-efficiency and the
improvement it contributes to the management of IT systems.
We also continued to encourage innovation and spark creativity
through our CCMf and Cyberport Incubation Programme.
Through this latter programme, we support the development of
the Hong Kong ICT industry by offering services, training,
financial assistance, facilities and networking opportunities to
incubate companies in the early start-up phase. for both
programmes, we received a total of 524 applications and
admitted 75 application in the year.
We were very pleased to see our efforts on behalf of our
incubatees paying off. As of 31 March 2014, our incubatees
raised more than HK$102.4 million in accumulated investment
funding, won 158 local and international awards.
Based on the success of these programmes, we will increase our
support for emerging ICT talents by raising the total number of
CCMf grants to 150 projects. We will also initiate a CCMf
Partner Programme and enlarge our Cyberport Incubation
Programme to include another 150 incubatees in the next 3
years.

的受培育公司提供商業服務、培訓、財務資

行業的發展
更上一層樓。上述兩項計劃年內共接獲

申請，共批出
